Nasty Women is a global art movement that serves to demonstrate solidarity among artists who identify with being a Nasty Woman in the face of threats to roll back women’s rights, individual rights, and abortion rights. In 2017, Nasty Women Dublin held a fundraising exhibition to showcase the strength and diversity of art by female artists in Ireland, and promote the cause of women's rights, in particular reproductive rights and the campaign to Repeal the 8th Amendment. My photographic piece Pop It On celebrated the transformative power of the domestic space and the conversations that take place there.
